Bedsore Solutions For Recliner Chairs

Not everyone is comfortable or likes to be in a bed all day! We get several calls per week regarding Gel pads for recliner chairs for bedsore prevention. A little about me...

"How did I get into the medical air mattress business?" you may ask before trusting any of the information I will provide you in this blog. About 5 years ago my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. She went quickly from being a healthy, vibrant young woman to a bed ridden patient. The most helpless feeling was when she told me "The cancer was not as painful as the bedsore on her bum" my mom was a new englander and we loved when she used the reference! 
When you love someone deeply, you want to relieve any pain they have so I quickly researched alternating pressure mattresses per her oncologist and found the model Group 2 Loss Air Loss Mattress. My mother said that it instantly relieved her pressure sore pain. When the cancer worsened we had to take her out of her home by ambulance and into the ER. Her oncologist came down to examine her and asked us what we had done to treat her bedsore. We told him that she was on the Group 2 Low Air Loss Mattress and he looked at me and said "That mattress is better than the mattresses we have in our hospital! No wonder she looks almost completely healed!"  I think as loved ones we are desperate to help in any little way and in that moment I felt relief that I had lifted a burden from her. Sadly although we could fix the bedsore we could not cure the cancer and my mother lost her battle here on earth. This started my crusade and business to help others who have gone through the same thing as I have. My goal is to provide quality equipment that will help heal loved ones in desperate times.
